Spear-Bar Kennels is fortunate to have two exceptional lines of Dobermans in its Kennel. Both are out of European champions with incredible pedigrees.

Both Caden and Gemini’s lines will produce exceptional puppies for Spear-Bar Kennels well into the future. Our ladies are pure American and the re-introduction of these European champions will assure the owners of Spear-Bar puppies the best of the old world and the new.

We built and now maintain the Spear-Bar Kennels website. And we are proud to have Spear-Bar Kennels as a Deluxe Sponsor of our website Network

The Rio Salado Vizsla Club, Inc. was founded in the early 1970's by a small group of Vizsla Fanciers. In those days Vizslas were few and far between and we managed to attract a membership of about 35 people. The newly formed club elected Betty Kenly - an Arizona resident who had one of the most prominent Vizslas to this date in America as President and Marge Mehagian as Secretary. Our goal was to become recognized by the American Kennel Club so that we could hold AKC Events. We scheduled AKC Sanctioned Events in Field and Show. Within the next two years we were given permission to hold AKC recognized events in both of these areas. The Club continued to grow, as the breed became better known. In 1980 and 1986 the Rio Salado Vizsla Club had progressed to a point that allowed us to sponsor the Vizsla Club of America Nationals. This event was held at Fort Huachuca in Southern Arizona both years.
